FAQs

What is your photography style?

My style is very natural and unposed. You won't see me asking you or your guests to make silly faces but if it happens I will be there to capture it. I'm very discreet which is why I prefer to use natural light, it helps me capture those perfectly candid moments. I take great pleasure in creating romantic and beautiful images. When it comes to the bride and groom portraits I offer a bit more direction.

Are you a full-time photographer

Yes, as well as weddings I also cover other events, portraits, headshots and maternity photos.

Who will take my photographs?

I will! I work alone and will take and edit all of your wedding photos. If you'd like to have a second photographer then that can be arranged. This will be someone I trust and whose style is similar to mine.

Can we meet you to discuss our plans?

Yes- I highly recommend arranging a no-obligation meeting in Norfolk before you make a decision. If you don't live in this area then we can Skype or call to chat about your plans and requirements. If you decide you'd like to book me then we can arrange another meeting or call closer to time to discuss the final details.

How far in advance do I need to book?

I recommend booking as soon as possible. I take bookings up to 18 months in advance. However if you don't have this much time don't let that stop you from getting in touch I will take bookings as long as I'm available. I planned my own wedding in 3 months!

Do you offer engagement or pre-wedding shoots?

Yes absolutely! In fact I think they're a great way to get to know me and get comfortable in front of the camera. I also understand that this is not for everyone so there is no obligation. They can be added to your package if you wish.

Do you offer bespoke packages?

I know every wedding is different so if none of my packages are quite right for you then I'd be more than happy to discuss your requirements.

Where do you live and what areas do you cover?

I live in Norfolk but will go wherever the job takes me! I'm more than happy to travel just get in touch and let me know where your wedding will be.

Do you charge travel costs?

Only if your wedding is outside of East Anglia.

How many photos will I receive?

The number of photos depends on a few thing- hours of coverage, number of guests and so on. Typically for full day coverage you will receive a minimum of 600 photos, each one individually edited by me. There will be a selection in both black and white and colour.

Can I see all the photos you take on the day?

No I'm afraid not. As a photographer I take as many photos as is physically possible and then I select the ones that best tell the story of your day. Any photos that I don't feel are suitable will be deleted. This is a part of the job that I'm very careful with. Don't worry you won't be missing anything, maybe just an awkward expression or unflattering pose.  Rest assured I would never leave out photos just to meet a certain number of final images.

I'm camera shy!

I know exactly how you feel! Having your photo taken can be a strange thing. i also understand that some of your guests might feel the same way. I'm not there to make anyone feel uncomfortable and won't force anyone to have their photo taken.  I'm very discreet and all about natural un-staged photos.

Do you require a meal on the day?

This is completely your decision. If you would like to provide a meal for me then I won't say no, if not I always bring food and will find somewhere to eat this while you and your guests are eating.

Can I share my wedding photos?

Yes absolutely! Your online gallery is a great way to share your photos with friends and family. They can also be dowloaded.

When do I get to see my photos?

I will send you a preview a couple of days after your wedding just in case you wake up wondering if it was all a dream. Your password-protected online gallery with all the images from your day will be ready to view 4 weeks after your wedding day, but I will always aim to get them to you sooner if possible.
